This is hardly an exclusive list, just what games have been nagging at me recently. (There are very few games that cause me to have an 'I don't want to play this' reaction.) It also doesn't include the games I'm already involved in.

Polaris: An interesting design. Completely playerless. (Or GM-less, but I think playerless is closer to the essence of the game.) Only problem is that it's essentially fixed as a four-player game, and at least four of the people I'm currently gaming with will likely also want to try it. (Three have said as much, and I expect one to just love the 'tragically doomed prettyboys at the north pole' setting. :)

Dogs in the Vineyard: This is kind of a weird 'want to play'. The setting and premise do very little for me. (Although I do have a character concept floating around in my head that needs playing.) The mechanics are a brilliant piece of design work, though. I'm not sure I'll like them in play, but that won't make them any less well-designed, just not to my taste.

Sorcerer: Sort of the anti-Dogs. I really like the premise of the game, and it can work out well in actual play. (I'm in a game of it now.) The implementation, however, makes me scream in pain. I also have other issues with it - I'm probably going to write a review of the game once the campaign wraps.

A friend and I have the system up on blocks, and we've spent a little time taking it apart and putting it back together. Once we finish that, I'll want to see how it plays. (And I still like the basic premise of the game, of course. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth the effort.)

D&D: Yeah, it's D&D, but I have fond memories of D&D, and it's a coherently-designed D&D.

GURPS: I've always liked GURPS. I like toolkit systems, and 4th edition cleans up a lot of the cruft. I've also been buying the books, so need to justify it. :) Now if only all the game ideas I've pondered didn't fit better into my homebrew system. (Which also should be on this list.)

Paranoia: Played a fair amount of this when I was younger, and only sort of knew what I was doing. It tended toward the slapstick/body-count. I've got a much better grasp of dark humor nowadays. It's also another "bought the book, so should really use it" situation.
